An all cotton piecework quilt based on a drawing of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs website home page completed in winter 2018. The back of the quilt is printed with twenty-five Senatorial Oaths for the twenty-five senators on the Committee at that time. The quilt binding is a reproduction Colonial Americana fabric, borrowed from my grandmother's sewing box, which shows how USA federal government structures are framed and defined by historical time periods.
